Why headache happen and what could be the cause

Anyone can suffer from a mild to moderate headache completely depends on the patient condition. It can be normal, chronic or recurring, which can be diagnosed according to its symptoms. A normal headache happen due to working for long hours, waking up till late in night, watching TV, tiredness, stress, due to noise, cold and cough or may be because of fever etc.

Whereas chronic and recurring headache is completely different and it happens in case of patient is suffering from a disease like migraine or stress problem. It can also happen due to weak eyesight or neurological condition. So, in specific condition and severe symptoms, patient must consult to their doctors. 


Symptoms of Headache

Headache can be happen due to different causes and most of the time it can be self diagnosed and self treated.

If headache happens due to stress you might have symptoms like


  • Aching head pain
  • You may feel pressure around head and neck
  • You may have  anxiety, difficulty in falling asleep with headache.
  • Tenderness on your scalp, neck and shoulder muscles

In severe condition, you may feel the following symptoms. If you have any such symptoms, immediately seeks medical attention.

  • Severe headache 
  • Headache with a fever 
  • You may have stiff neck and mental confusion in some cases 
  • double vision, weakness, numbness or speaking difficulties
  • Headache after a head injury, especially if the headache gets worse

What is Malaria?


Malaria is a kind of fever which is transmitted by infected mosquito bite(Anopheles mosquito). The Malaria fever is preventable and curable but in case of  delay in treatment it can be life threatening.


Symptoms of Malaria fever
  • High fever with headache and chill (you may feel sensation of cold with body shivering)
  • severe anaemia
  • Vomiting
  • Respiratory related problem
  • Abnormal bleeding in case of severe malaria case
  • impaired consciousness


Is malaria contagious what is the cause of malaria?
Malaria happens if an infected mosquito bites. Malaria can also be contagious in case of

  • Infected animal or insect bites or stings
  • Using of blood products like unclean needles or unscreened blood.

Malaria treatment
